Dear Blog,

I missed you and sorry that I haven been writing to you cuz this is one those times that I'll reflect on myself and my life. I shall start pening down my thoughts again moving forward. Promise.

Today I've learned an important lesson, its not something new but juz something that I think I've forgotten along the way in life.

And thats to stay true to myself and not letting others or things to bring me down juz because I doing it for other's sake. Let's start making things right for myself from now on.

I will care for others and give them my best by accepting who they are and to be reciprorcated in that same way is the best that I can ask for.

Only with each passing day it makes me realize even more that I'm not gonna get use to the fact that you have left us for good. Even though you always said that you have no more regrets and should reunite with grandpa. I know you did your best to put up a good but painful fight till the end. But it all happens too sudden while you were slowly recovering in ICU when we thought you gonna pull through.

During the first few days of your passing it was the toughest for me. I cried so much that I never thought I will. The pain was so immense that its beyond words to describe. However the worst was regretting not spending enough time with you during your last few months with us as I was buried by work and spend my time gallivanting with close friends instead.. This guilt ridden conscious will always haunt me.

Recalling the old times with you bringing me up just deepens the pain in me. Always playing that role when mum is busy with work. Especially those times where we cooked meals together, when you handed me my pocket money, the times we watched your Hongkong Dramas together, me woken up by your loud voice, times where we worked our butts off at our coffee stall in the hawker center or buying meals for you and those bickering sessions that we have. All these juz keep repeating itself like movie scenes in my mind.

Staying with me under the same roof for 27 year and seeing you everyday, the house without your voice or the empty room without you or even that empty sofa chair just seem so foreign to me. Your scent still lingers on the pillow you sleep on, your fave clothes, your medication and so many things reminds me of you. I really miss those times where I hold your hands every now and then, if I could wish for something I juz wanna hold them once again and tell you those things that I never did.

Nonetheless I'll be strong and your unconditional love for us will always reminds us how much you have put in and sacrifice for this family. The only relieve for us is that you no longer need to suffer the pain of dialysis that you have bared for the past 14-15 years and living to the age of 83 and with 5 loving children and 12 grandchildren that misses you deeply I'm sure you leave us without any regrets.

Finally.. like my Facebook status said. I'm so O.V.E.R.U.E.X.A.M.S! period~ Lol! Anyway cant juz sit back n relax. alr started looking for job. had send out my 2nd resume to Resort World, hope they'll get back to me.. Sooon... *Prays* Well.. still abit torn over what corporate job I shld head into. my heart tells me to venture the hospitality sector (explain my TP Tourism Diploma) but my head tells me to go for sumthing else that gives better moolah.. like the telecos aint gonna be much of an issue for me but kinda worried I might stucked there forever. so still pondering.. Guess.. I shld juz let nature take its course..

I'm back! Pardon me for the M.I.A, but the first half of the year has been a crazy ride for me. reservist, CNY, overloading of modules in school for my last semester, rushing countless assignments, work, personal commitments and the list goes on on.. blah blah blah..

Well. juz making a quick update n sharing some awesome tracks b4 I dive back into my books again. Took my first paper yesterday. 1 down 3 more to go. juz cant wait for the whole darn thing to end and start on my first corporate job which I've already started looking for.

1) Yuya Matsushita - Trust me

The no 1 top spinner in my playlist now. this 20 y.o guy do have some serious chops going on. Feel that he will go far. n he does resembles a more gd looking Seven, (the now no where to be seen Korean Singer/Actor) at certain angles. Well. juz play the vid n I'm sure u guys will be charm by him.. His moves r so slick~~ ohh! n totally digging his pair of white sneakers man..

2) MAX - Cat's Eye

My ALL TIME FAVE Jpop girlband is back with their latest release to celebrate their 15 anniversary. lotsa of fans had labeled this as a nod to their roots, cuz its a eurobeat rendition of a cover that debuted in 1983, giving it a very 80s disco and secret agent vibe. Loving every bit of the video.

3) BoA Feat Daichi Miura - Possibility

Featured in her latest Japanese album; Identity, that was release in Feb, this R&B ballad is really hitting all the right notes for me. BoA shld really heads towards this direction for her upcoming works..

4) Alicia Keys - Un-Thinkable (I'm Ready)

This shld be Ms Keys's nxt single from The Freedom of Element album, kinda reminds me of her early works, so surreal yet so soulful.. n she's getting HOTTER by the day.. Love her to bits.. n those who haven, pls check out The Freedom of Element. Its really one of my fave albums by her so far. 2 thumbs up!

5) Timbaland Feat Bran'Nu - Middle in Tha Middle

My personal FAVE from Timbaland's Shock Value II album, one of my top picks whenever I hit the gym..

6) Janelle Monae Feat Big Boi - Tightrope

Bum into this track by chance, and I muz say its a pretty quirky video and That Janelle can really GLIDE, some serious footwork there.

7) Linda Kiraly - Can't Let Go

A song that I posted before in 2008 on my LJ, been digging some of my old tracks lately and this is really one hella of a gd song that's worth sharing AGAIN. From what I found this is the Hungarian-American singer's first English debut single which she collaborated with Darkchild, no wonder I love this track so much.. n the lyrics... is must play song during breakups. Lol!

8) Christina Milian - One Kiss

Lastly, another old song that I dug out, I think its one of those songs that Ms Milian did but didnt manage to do any impact on the charts but I juz find this is a really great dance song that is not really justified. Well, personal opinions..

A Story to ponder

Good or Bad, hard to say!

Once upon a time, there was a king. The king liked one of his followers very
much because he was very wise and always gave very useful advice. Therefore
the king took him along wherever he went.

One day, the king was bitten by a dog, the finger was injured and the wound
was getting worse. He asked the follower if that was a bad sign. The
follower said, Good or bad, hard to say'. In the end, the finger of the king
was too bad that had to be cut. The king asked the follower again if that
was a bad sign. Again, the follower gave the same answer, 'Good or bad, hard
to say'. The king became very angry and sent the follower to prison.

One day, the king went hunting in the jungle.. He got excited when he was on the chase of a deer. Deeper and deeper he went inside the jungle. In the end
he found himself lost in the jungle. To make thing worse, he got captured by
the native people lived inside the jungle.

They wanted to sacrifice him to their god. But when they noticed that the
king had one finger short, they released him immediately as he was not a
perfect man anymore and not suitable for sacrifice. The king managed to get back to his palace after all. And he finally understood the follower's wise
quote, 'Good or bad, hard to say'. If he hadn't lost one finger, he could
have been killed by the native people.

He ordered to release the follower, and apologized to him. But to the king
amaze, the follower was not mad at him at all. Instead, the follower said,
It wasn't a bad thing that you locked me up.' Why? Because if the king
hadn't locked the follower up, he would have brought the follower along to
the jungle. If the native found that the king was not suitable, they would
have used the follower. Again, the quote 'Good or bad, hard to say' stands.

The moral of the story:

Everything that happens in this world, there is no absolute good or bad.
Sometimes good things turned out to be bad things eventually, while bad
things become a gain.

Whatever good things that happen to you, enjoy it, but don't have to hold
too tight to it, treat it as a surprise in your life. Whatever bad things
that happen to you, don't have to feel too sad or despair, in the end, it
might not be a total bad thing after all.

If one can understand this, he or she will find life much easier.

I think this story really speaks a lot about how I see things in life.. probably explain why I am so cheerful and optimistic most of the time. some may perceive it as being not serious and nonchalant abt things but i feel that we shldnt be taking things so hard. life is too short to digress.

Had review this song sometime back and had a feeling that she's gonnna do well back then. Apparently bcuz of this song everyone is naming her the Lady Gaga of 2010. currently holding 4 consecutive wks of # 1 in US this track is the 2nd highest downloaded track EVER after Flo-Rida's Right Round. I gotta strong feeling, she's gonna hit the music industry like a storm very soon..

Was reading the latest issue of 8 Days n saw the interview with Ris Low and her parents.. n in actual fact i feel Happy for her that at least her parents r supportive of her.. Especially after going thru the series of 2nd interview she had with RazorTV, I feel alot for this 19 yo ger.. empathy mainly.. mebbe? I juz feel that she is juz a young ger pursuing her dreams. fame and etc. thou the method may not be correct but under that facade my intuition tells me she is actually a pretty nice ger who wears her sleeve on her shoulder and juz happen to be in center of attention by coincidence.

Well.. I admit I do make fun of her like on things Boomz and Shingz but not with any ill-intentions that sort. so seriously hope more people can give her a break.. she dun deserve so much criticism lah. I mean u have to give her credit for single-handedly making Boomz and Shingz such a daily word now. Lol!

Well~ I seriously hope that she will:
1)Figure out what she really wants to pursue and stop making up lies.... mebbe she think that its ok, cuz they r like white lies to her but they r hurting her more then she thot it would
2) Seek major help for her Bipolar symptoms and probably putting a haul in pulling tricks out off her bag.. at least for the moment...
3) And yup after all the dust settles down u nv know.... she might make a come back with the Sweet Revenge of Ris Low but without all the negativism. haa~

(For Me) Da best is still, I'm A Slave 4 U, Me Against the Music and Toxic where her SuperStar factor is almost undoubted and choreography is GODLIKE. Totally dig the scenes where she bundle up her platinum blond hair and gives us da 'look' with that pout lips.. totally BOOMz!! Planning to get this together with MAX's new edition tour. took this queen a no of years to perform back at the prestigious Dome concert hall again. (able to fit 50000+ pple, only superstars like Mariah, Britney, Ayumi and the late MJ will perform there) Thou u can see she is shag out. (she's 32 already, mind you) but her moves n vocals is juz still so amazing.. she's one of those stars in Japan that hardly no one can overtake. juz chk out the clip.

4) So Sick - Justin Jap

Time to blog abit before pple might think that I had vapourized frm the surface on earth or sumthing. Lol! Assignments deadlines are around the corner again.... buried alive by them.. Again... Haiz.. thats the only thing i dread when there is school. 4 modules and i have 8 assignments to complete n 4 papers at the end of the sem.... Well.. says much abt uni life i guess.. She is the voice you heard on Flo Rida's Right Round. n this is her debut release. the catchy chorus hooks me.. abit rowdy thou. Lol!

4) Bad Boys - Alexandra Burke

Her long awaited debut ever since winning X-Factor last year. I juz think this song got potential to be a hit? Nope? Well.. the chorus got stuck in my head for days.. Totally feeling it.. *Bad Boys* *Bad Boys*

5) Dancing In The Dark - Frankmusik

A unrelease or bonus track frm his electro-pop debut album. The songs frm his album is not bad too. His 1st release; Confusion Girl is worth a listen as well..

Quite surpised I really really fall in love with this song. cuz I dun really dig her songs frm her current revival album. But this is different.. for me at least.. Juz sumthing that Whitney will do i guess. got a very 90s kinda vibe. simple, catchy n groovy. nothing complicated... Juz like me.. ^^

Was going thru my old LJ posts and bump into this vid agaaainn.. Thou its rather embarrassing I still cant help but to giggle quite a bit when I see this. this was wat my lovelies aka the girls did to me on my 24th B'day last year.

Pulling thru one whole day n nite without slpin really aint no joke... intended to post this entry once I cleared my submission on Mon but was seriously too shagged out. well.. survived at least, 29 hours straight without any slp and had to attend Buyer Behaviour class summore.. in the end really couldnt endure, dozed off abit. its so deja vu like back to those OCS days man. Geez~

Anyway, training at Nokia went well. will be starting work this coming wkend at Suntec.. so anyone keen to get ur a nokia phone can come n look for me k. can be my 1st official customer. Lol! kidding ah!!

Its not a bad comeback frankly speaking. especially in the vocal aspect... juz abit dissappointed abt their choreography cuz its not as tight as last time. well.. with a mean avg age of 32, i guess we shldnt be too harsh rite. that answers why Namie's choregraphy is abit more lax these days too. age is really catchin up man. Anyway back to da song, u guys may find the choreo abit Para or Disco (bryan calls them thai tranny disco. I'm back! finally done and gotten over with my Strategic Management Essay. 4500 words is a bitch... Seriously! Well. At least for me.. Anyway, back with some more nice music to share with you guys. Today we have 4 new entries here, uploaded 2 of them sometime back but was too busy to post so have to combine them with another 2 songs to make this a more substantial entry. Haa!

1) Are You Ready - MAX

My all time fave girl band, those who are into J-pop shld know about them. Namie Amuro and them are batch mates and they are the seniors of all time most successful J-pop girl group Speed. Anyway will do a detail cover story about MAX and their lastest release on my next entry. They launch this very uptempo song ard end last year together with their remastered best hits of the 90s collection, after having their original member joining back. this seriously is a song worthy of becoming a hit by itself. hope u guys will like it.

2) Smash Into You - Beyonce

A song recommended by a friend, it juz somehow reminds me of the old Beyonce from her Dangerously in Love album, nothing dramatic, juz pure good voice. A track included in her I am... Sasha Fierce album and feature in her movie; Obsessed (Luv the show. Bey Rox!!)

3) Release me - Agnes

I'm sure a lot of you guys who are very update abt the UK charts shld heard this song before. very nice. not too techno or too danced. juz nice n giving it a right vibe. I feel that the girl looks abit like Leona Lewis n I feel that Leona can do this song too. mebbe better even? haa.. well..

4) Good girls go bad - Cobra Starship

Lastly, consist of a 1 ger electro-pop band, this is their 1st release for their 3rd album.. think its the 1st time i heard of the band. mebbe they were under my radar but this song is juz too catchy to miss. Love it!!

1) Obsessed - Mariah Carey

MARIAH's 1st single for her upcoming album that is set to launch this year. Doing her usual twang, this baby requires more then a couple of listening before u will get hooked. Well... at least for me... Her songs nv dissappoint me. thou e=mc2 did not fare that well compared to Emancipation of mimi but it is still gd enuff for me.. Well.. cant wait for the NEW album.. GO MARIAH!!!!

2) Sometimes you leave - Carrie Underwood

A bonus track from her Carnival Ride album, manage to bump into this undiscovered gem via some websites and was surprised this did not make the cut to be a single on its on. Juz an emo country ballad. I'm sure u guys will like it.

3) Don't be afraid - Elliott Yamin

One of the tracks frm his 2nd album, American idol season 5 contestant Elliott Yamin is certainly doing better than fellow season winner Taylor Hicks and Runner up Katharine Mcphee. Haa! The album has a no of great tracks in it and this is MY fave out of the whole bunch..

4) Magic - Melanie Fiona

Think shes a new artist and recently juz launch her album, got a number of her songs but so far I like this the most and apparently its an unreleased track that did not made the cut to be on the album and apparently its a re-rendition summore. Well. juz simply in love with the song. the lyrics the melody. Totally reminds me of how I felt when love LEFT me even thou after so long.... so long..... I really wonder if I'm gonna meet anyone that is able to giv me the taste on the MAGIC TOUCH again..

For u guys who hav no idea she's the original singer for Saya's 想念你的歌. so yup. this is my fave as well for her 3rd album; DREAM. A nice R&B ballad hope u guys will like it. Dig her powerful vocals everytime.

Anywayz! Bey's vid for Sweet Dreams is finally out!!! Those who still remember, I actually embbed this song on my LJ last year, which was a leaked track initally (titled as Beautiful Nightmare back then) however, now its finally an official single. I'm pretty thrilled seriously cuz I really really like this song. Its like my fave track frm the Sasha Fierce camp and definitely the best vid frm the WHOLE album.. love the shattered glass effect n her USUAL awesome choreography.. ohh.. n the gold body suit is just mind blowing.. well.. just cant stop complimenting about it.. OK! enuff of the tokking. u guys jus seat back, relaxed and enjoy k...

and the making of the vid that was out sum time back, think the effects took the production sum time to complete but if i were them i'll be very satisfy with the finished product as well
