playmymusic post 005 + updates

This post was saved and suppose to be up last wk but was way too busy and lazy to finish this entry.. Anyway! exam break starts today.. like finnaallly... can take a breather or two before plunging in back to my books for the exams. well. dun wanna think about that 1st. n yup. bday is around the corner again. and I 'm soooo looking forward to that. being planning it for sumtime.. but juz briefly only. still waiting for sum details to be finalize before I'll confirm anything. but it'll be on 17th. too bad Jas & Glenn will be out of town thou.. sad~~~~ well.....

Last wk celebrated Desmond's bday @ kbox.. then met up with the gers for potluck picnic on sun @ sentosa and then mooncake+lantern gathering with Charles and his friends. pics to be up soon.. hav not uploaded any personal pics for sometime already. cuz was really too lazy.. Lol!

Fancy Free - Sun ho

Okay I know not alot of people fancy her. I'm referring to our own Singaporeans.. but I do think she deserved the credit.. that she is doing us proud. At least she has 4 billboard dance No 1 under her belt. well. Seriously.. its a big deal... at least for the entertainment industry.. n she is 100% pure Singaporean sum more.. Anyway its a interesting song n vid. like the "Dee, dee, dee, dee, dee, dee," part.. hooks on to me. haha.. n the vid seems to hav a Britney's Circus meets Rihanna's Disturbia vibe.. well.. Yes/No?

Namie's latest Vidal Sassoon ad

I really love the ad n I juz cant sick looking at her n if u dunno she is internationally renowned ok. even Karl Lagerfield invited her as a V.I.P for his Fendi Spring/Summer 2010 show. n seriously i think her hair is heavily insured or sumthing. Lol! u go ger! cant wait for ur new work. the song in the ad is actually her nxt release btw..

Till the nxt entry then. Promise it'll be coming real soon.. *winks*

i juz wanna ;playmymusic

;playmymusic special Jap post

Rey is a rather Happy Boy this wk, cuz his only left with 2 more assignments to go before study break. Yippie~
Today will be sharing wif u guys sum Jap or Jap's tunes that i have been spinning in my head lately.. really worth a listen or 2.

1) Delete my memories - Daichi Miura

Sorry couldn't find a better quality vid. youtube ver cannot be embbed here. anyway. sorry if u guys dun find his looks appealing. its the curly hair lah.. but! his moves r super duper slick.. AND I really really! dig tis song alot. IT SHOUTS ME! BVOOMS! Lol!! the dance moves really resembles what I do every wed on Toby's supastreet class @ cali. mebbe can psycho Toby to chore this song. Haa~ anyway this chap is under the same company as Namie, MAX n Speed.(think his frm Okinawa too) he is rather awesome.. debuted at the age of 10 y.o in the 90s along with the group Folder. he was the male lead singer for this super kids group. not sum random wannabe

2) Black Cherry - Koda Kumi

All thanks to Toby for playing this during warm up for dance class I'm now so addicted to this very catchy, seductive and sensual track.. love kumi-chan's deep nasal voice. initially a intro track for one of her 07 albums but because it was so well receive it becomes a track by itself. n this is supposedly her 2007 Dome tour opening.. I was totally "WOAHed" by her.. check it out urself. think it took 4 stylist to blow dry her hair at 1 time. and seriously! i have nv seen an opening liddat.. Power~

3)2009 Best Fiction Tour - Namie Aumro

Planning to get this together with MAX's new edition tour. took this queen a no of years to perform back at the prestigious Dome concert hall again. (able to fit 50000+ pple, only superstars like Mariah, Britney, Ayumi and the late MJ will perform there) Thou u can see she is shag out. (she's 32 already, mind you) but her moves n vocals is juz still so amazing.. she's one of those stars in Japan that hardly no one can overtake. juz chk out the clip.

4) So Sick - Justin Jap

Ok, this is a shout out to u guys to vote for my friend Mr Justin Jap on Tonite's Spectacular show on CH 5 at 8pm.. will be @ Mediacorp wit Bryan n Mandy to render him our support. if u think his performance is worthy pls do support him be voting CUZ personally I really do think he ROX.. Big Time! chk out the above performance.

Please support him by calling 1900-112-1208 or SMS "8" to 43657 (IDOLS) Thanks a million! Go Justin!!!! Show Florence and Dick Lee wat ur made off.

VMAs 2009

Ok, This will be a REALLY quick one. VMA this year is really spectacular. i was like Woah!!! A tad pity that Britney aint in the performing list. Anyway.. here's 3 acts that totally blew me away.

1st) Single Ladies - Dear Ms Bey

Single Ladies is still not my fave, but dear Beyonce did it again with her stunting showmanship. Seriously, I wonder if anyone could ever overtake her.. Man~

2nd) Sober - Pink

That CIRQUE DU SOLEIL act she pull off really surpises me. Image singing while suspended in mid air.. Bravo!

3rd) Paparazzi - Lady Gaga

And how can I miss her out.. our fave gossip ger for 2009.. the last part is really very her.. I hav no idea but i really like it alot.. artisitc? mebbe? Lol.. I'm sick..

Thats all folks. Hope u guys manage to caught the VMAs one way or another.. Back to work.

Ciao~

:playmymusic post 004

Time to blog abit before pple might think that I had vapourized frm the surface on earth or sumthing. Lol! Assignments deadlines are around the corner again.... buried alive by them.. Again... Haiz.. thats the only thing i dread when there is school. 4 modules and i have 8 assignments to complete n 4 papers at the end of the sem.... Well.. says much abt uni life i guess.. Haa with a BIG sigh~

Anyway been tuning in to these lovey tunes to relieve myself abit, hope u guys will like them too.

1) Lazy - Letoya Luckett

Emo track for me. It sort of a reflection on my perspective for love now. Jaded.... n i'm ok with it. pretty much.... not bcuz of sumone, juz that the process is too draining for me at the moment.. NO TIME.. seriously... No wonder.. one of my ex told me that I've become quite jaded compared to the time when knowing me.. n I even said: "Where got?" well.. now I know why..

Lyrics

Intro: (Spoken)

I don't know It's not you, it's the ones that hurt me and I just can't afford to be hurt again, so

Verse 1:

Hold on, I'm not really trying to go through this again I'm not jumping up and down about love and (excuse me) If don't wanna dive back into that pool of love, I'm done swimming, I'm good See, I don't feel like getting to know you what you like you eat and what you like to do See, that's too much information to deal with Play the love game with another 'cause I quit

Pre Chorus:

(Don't wanna start over again) 'cause I've had enough (I don't wanna hurt again) sorry, I give up (Already know what I'm missin') pain and heartache, I'm tired of it 'cause my eyes is staying dry now (Don't wanna let another in) 'cause I'm cool on that ('Cause it might happen again) got no time for that (And keeps repeating) see, that's insanity but I'm cured from this disease, can you forgive me?

Chorus:

You gotta forgive me I know it might sound crazy but right now my heart's a little lazy I'm tired of opening up, I'm tired of caring I don't feel like loving you, don't feel like loving you You gotta forgive me I know it might sound crazy but who knew love could be so drainy I'm tired of opening up, I'm tired of caring I don't feel like loving you, don't feel like loving you no more

.....................................................................................

Anyway this is taken frm her lastest album Lady Love. Her previous album was billboard No 1 in 06 so I do think she will do well for this album.. I gave a felling this could be her nxt release...

2) My Bloody Valentine - Tata Young

Juz a simple mid tempo R&B track. Like the opening alot.. Her music has really change quite abit comparing to her debut work last time.

3) Tik Tok - Ke$ha

She is the voice you heard on Flo Rida's Right Round. n this is her debut release. the catchy chorus hooks me.. abit rowdy thou. Lol!

4) Bad Boys - Alexandra Burke

Her long awaited debut ever since winning X-Factor last year. I juz think this song got potential to be a hit? Nope? Well.. the chorus got stuck in my head for days.. Totally feeling it.. *Bad Boys* *Bad Boys*

5) Dancing In The Dark - Frankmusik

A unrelease or bonus track frm his electro-pop debut album. The songs frm his album is not bad too. His 1st release; Confusion Girl is worth a listen as well..

6) Call You Tonight - Whitney Houston

Quite surpised I really really fall in love with this song. cuz I dun really dig her songs frm her current revival album. But this is different.. for me at least.. Juz sumthing that Whitney will do i guess. got a very 90s kinda vibe. simple, catchy n groovy. nothing complicated... Juz like me.. ^^

Okay.. thats it for now. time to hit da sack. This wk will be a shag one for me.. Haiz... Hope u guys will press the play button, sit back n relax.. signing out..
